Based in the contentious borderlands at the south-east edge of Scotland where the River Tweed makes its way into the North Sea, Donald Strachan brings you Views From The Edge. Playlists are extremely varied and focus on unsigned and indie artists from around the world with absolutely no genre restrictions. Music is interspersed with his 'views' about a wide range of topics - very often about social justice issues. One thing is for sure – expect the unexpected!

Dear Donald

We would be truly grateful if you would consider our 3 minute radio friendly Americana Country song ‘Pensacola’s Calling’ by Sun-Pinned Leaves taken from our fourth album ‘Rock ‘n’ Road’.

Sun-Pinned Leaves are vocalist Christopher Brown (Kent) & multi-instrumentalist Neil Faulkner (Suffolk) from the UK.
Chris and Neil first wrote songs together at school in 1975 and continued writing and performing live together in various bands until the mid 1980s. Having reunited in recent years Neil and Chris have produced 4 albums since 2019 the latest being the Americana inspired ‘Rock ‘n’ Road’. Our last gigs were a 4-piece line-up in London(Dublin Castle) 29/10 and Kent(Rock 4 Remembrance) 6/11.
